I’m a writer, traveller, healer, and intuitive business coach dedicated to guiding you on the journey towards unravelling who you are at the core whilst fully embracing your talents and gifts. My name means the luckbringer, and I’m dedicated to spreading light into the world.
No matter what your dreams or obstacles are, you have the power to change your life and by doing so you’ll change the world.
One day in 2018, I’d just landed in Paris after flying halfway across the world from Australia, when I was informed that my colleague and dear friend Angélique took her own life that evening. Angélique was a very talented photographer and took photos for my travel business, Pure Paris. That season, the Sensational Paris Tour started on a terrifying note of worry, despair, and frustration.

As a creative, multi-passionate entrepreneur I’ve never fit into a conventional box. As long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with cultural differences and read about old cultures like the Greeks, Egyptians and the Maya’s where I felt a strong connection with. I didn’t feel I belonged in the rational world that the Netherlands was, and as a result I was hiding my ‘unusual gifts’ out of fear.
From a young age, I also had an insatiable curiosity about what drives people to do what they do, and how everyone has unique talents. I’ve been forever fascinated about what exactly it is that makes people genuinely happy, successful and creatively fulfilled. And how unravelling who you truly are plays an important role in how happy and fulfilled you will be.

After Angélique passed, I realised that it wasn’t a coincidence I was in Paris during her last hours and her death. In fact, ‘she gifted me’ the realisation that life is to be lived to the fullest, and that there is no time to waste. Owning your gifts and being Confident and Courageous is vitally important to become of full service to the world as the world needs your special gift. I discovered I was a natural coach and healer. Although I loved my travel business, I was denying important parts of my calling. My whole lifetime I had been praised for being able to tune and tap into people’s energies, and for reading between the lines. Although I was helping others, I didn’t value this gift.
After losing Angélique, everything started to fall into place. My whole career path started to make sense and crystallise..
To serve the cosmic plan best I first needed to step into my own greatness and gifts, in order to be able to help spiritually curious creatives gaining Clarity, Confidence and Courage.
I come from a background of very independent women: my grandmother travelled on her own through Europe by train in the 40's. My mum worked in Paris as an au pair in the early 60’s. She named me after a young girl she looked after, Béatrice. Speaking French from the age of five, and my choice of studying Cultural Studies and French, I came to Paris to work in the Musée d’Orsay in 1993. I travelled to North Africa in 1997 to write my thesis about young females and their relationships with men. This was the start of a lifelong urge to travel the world and live and work in different countries.
My path wasn’t always easy, and despite what people see now, I was often scared. Maybe this is why I made ‘just do what you’re scared of’ my life mantra. However exciting, my travels were also an escape. I didn’t want to be moulded into a 9-5 hour job, starting a family and having kids. As a highly-sensitive creative, I wanted to be free and discover who I was at the core. It was in 2018, back in Paris, after studying and working in Tunisia, Ireland and Australia, that I found some important answers.
